European OGP networks take flight with multiple kick-offs

Across Europe, the BIOGREENET project has successfully launched several Organic Greenhouse Producer (OGP) networks, marking a significant step towards fostering innovation and collaboration in organic protected cropping.

In June and July 2026, a series of inaugural meetings were held to both launch new regional OGP networks and connect existing ones. These informal groups bring together organic greenhouse producers, creating a dynamic network where they can connect, share challenges, discuss innovative solutions and foster collaboration. The kick-off events underscore BIOGREENET's commitment to strengthening organic greenhouse production by connecting producers, researchers and other stakeholders. The gatherings serve as foundational steps for knowledge exchange, collaborative problem-solving and the development of sustainable practices within the organic greenhouse sector.
