The first BIOGREENET Italian Regional meeting is planned in Modica and Ragusa (Sicily). This event provides a crucial exchange space for farmers and technicians to map out future opportunities and perspectives for organic greenhouse farming.
The program is split into two main sessions:
June 30, 2026 (Modica): A participatory workshop focused on technical challenges, sharing best practices, and discussing the strategic role of local networks in driving innovation in organic greenhouses. The day will conclude with a networking buffet at the host venue.
July 1, 2026 (Ragusa): A hands-on technical field visit focused on practical insights regarding soil solarization and summer green manure management, two key agronomic practices for sustainable organic greenhouse systems.
