Funded by Horizon Europe, BIOGREENET (Boosting Innovation in Organic Greenhouses via Stronger Networks) brings together 16 organisations from across Europe with a shared goal: making practical, high-quality knowledge on organic greenhouse production more accessible and easier to apply on farms.
Over the coming years, the project will identify, assess and further develop proven practices covering topics such as soil fertility, crop management, biodiversity, plant health, water management and digital solutions for greenhouse production. These resources will be translated into practical materials including practice abstracts, videos and other farmer-oriented knowledge products.
By collaborating with Organic Farm Knowledge, BIOGREENET contributes to a growing European collection of practical tools and strengthens links between existing thematic networks. The platform provides an ideal environment for sharing project results with farmers, advisors and other agricultural professionals, helping innovative practices reach users across Europe.
In addition to digital knowledge resources, BIOGREENET will foster exchange through national stakeholder networks, workshops and international collaboration. These activities will enable practitioners to discuss challenges, validate promising approaches and support the wider adoption of successful organic greenhouse practices.
