IFOAM Organics Europe
IFOAM Organics Europe is the leading advocate for organic food and farming at the European level. Based in Brussels, the organisation represents the entire organic sector – from farmers and processors to retailers and certifiers – and works to shape EU policies that support a fair, environmentally conscious, and healthy food system. As the European regional body of IFOAM – Organics International, it connects its members to a global organic movement and provides a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Role in the project
With its strong policy expertise and wide-reaching network across the European organic sector, IFOAM Organics Europe plays a key role in BIOGREENET supporting the adaptation and translation of practice-ready knowledge (Work Packages 5–7). This enables efficient dissemination and application of materials across diverse European contexts, fostering widespread impact and practical use among organic stakeholders.
