AIAB – Italian Association of Organic Agriculture
AIAB is one of the most representative associations of organic agriculture in Italy, covering the entire national territory through 16 regional offices. Founded in 1988, it brings together farmers, researchers, technicians, and consumers to promote sustainable and environmentally friendly farming systems. AIAB works on advocacy, training, applied research, and certification support to strengthen organic value chains from production to consumption. The association also plays an active role in public awareness and policy dialogue at both national and European levels, supporting the growth and integrity of organic agriculture.
Role in the project
AIAB represents and supports organic farmers by providing technical assistance and promoting awareness-raising activities, contributing to the project through its strong advocacy role and deep connection to the farming community.
